Pamela graduated from The Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies in 2010 and immediately went on to do a one year Small Animal Rotating Internship at the Veterinary Emergency and Referral Clinic in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
During her internship she became interested in oncology and she subsequently accepted a position as Oncology Resident at The Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies in August 2011. Her prime interests are medical oncology and end of life care.
In March 2015 Pamela successfully passed the first part of the examination to become an ECVIM small animal oncology diplomate. Pamela joined Vets Now in April 2015 and runs the oncology service at our Emergency and Specialty Hospital in Glasgow.
The oncology service integrates treatment from colleagues in surgery, internal medicine, cardiology and emergency and critical care to provide state of the art care when a diagnosis of neoplasia is made.
