Dr Kate Russell

CertAVP (ECC) MRCVS, RCVS Advanced Practitioner in Emergency and Critical Care, Lead ECC Veterinary Surgeon

Kate graduated from St Petersburg State Academy of Veterinary Medicine with distinction in 2004. She gained membership of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons in 2008 and has been practicing in small animal general practice and emergency clinics in Sussex, Surrey, and Hampshire.

In October 2010 Kate completed our 10-week intensive CuttingEdge training program, going onto work in our Guilford clinics. In 2012 Kate became a principal veterinary surgeon of one of our busiest out-of-ours emergency clinics in Farnham, followed by a move to our Winchester clinic in 2015. She has completed a designated RCVS Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice in 2016 with all modules being dedicated to Emergency and Critical Care. In February 2017 Kate joined the team at our Emergency and Speciality Hospital in Swindon to take the lead role for the newly formed 24/7 Small Animal Emergency and Critical Care Service.
