CEO Mark Ross announces that Vets Now is to join the IVC Group
I am delighted to announce that today Vets Now has become part of the IVC Group. I am very excited about the change and the opportunity this provides.
The UK veterinary market has changed a lot over the last few years with increasing consolidation and it’s important for the entire profession that Vets Now remains in a strong position to provide pet emergency care.
Our working relationship with IVC has always been positive and their culture and values are very close to our own.
At Vets Now we are incredibly proud of our clinical culture, IVC also has a reputation for being clinically led and this is why I believe becoming part of the IVC Group gives Vets Now a strong, stable and secure future for many years to come.
For our customers and suppliers, there will be absolutely no change. We intend to provide our services to all independent and corporate practices exactly as we do at present.
Vets Now will operate as an independent part of the IVC Group with our current operating board, led by myself, remaining in control. Vets Now’s founder Richard Dixon will no longer be part of Vets Now but will, of course, remain a supporter of Vets Now and the work we do.
For the team at Vets Now I am excited by the new opportunities it will bring. As part of a larger and more diverse business, there will be plenty of opportunities for development over the coming years.
We will however always remain committed to our position as leaders in ECC and as such our annual congress, CPD, career and training opportunities will continue to be a key focus.
